Gil Lucas and Greg Stockton to Make a Presentation at the Defense, Security, and Sensing Symposium
RecoverIR™ announces that Gil Lucas and Greg Stockton will present a white paper during ThermoSense: Thermal Infrared Applications XXXIII Program at the Defense, Security and Sensing Conference being held next week, April 25-29, 2011 in Orlando, Florida at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center.
SPIE, the International Society for Optics and Photonics (formerly Society of Photo-Instrumentation Engineers) puts on this event annually. SPIE was founded to advance light-based technologies in 1955. Mr. Lucas and Mr. Stockton will be presenting the paper in the Industrial Applications Session of ThermoSense on Tuesday, April 26 entitled “Using a combination of aerial infrared and handheld infrared cameras for measuring, analyzing, and prioritizing the thermal performance of ‘big box’ buildings”. R.G. Lucas has more than 30 years of successful high technology and energy commercialization experience, has an MBA from the Stanford Business School, an expert witness to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel and is a well-versed professional engineer (P.E.), especially in energy-related topics. Greg Stockton has been an infrared thermographer for over 25 years. “We have been working on issues of energy efficiency in large buildings for some time now and the paper reveals some of our most recent work”, states Mr. Lucas.
